Could I keep chickens and goats in a barn together?
I plan on getting 3 goats and several chickens, and I wanted to know if I could build a small-ish barn in my backyard, and keep the goats on one side with their bedding, water, food, and whatnot, and then a wall separating with the other side going to chickens. Would that work out or do chickens need their own real coop? Couldn't they just stay in a barn? Thanks

- Yes, they can stay in a barn.
- What do you consider "smallish"? I had 6 goats in an 8x8' building, for sleeping and weather protection. They need to get out during the day and eat and walk around. Putting their food and water inside the shed would not be a good idea since they will knock it over and "do their business" in the container.Goats and chickens get along fine. I have 10 goats in a 1/2 acre penned in yard with 3 shelters they can use.
