How do they make Robot Chicken?

I resently started making little movies and music videos as a hobby, and I have seen, on youtube, people making movies with legos and action figures like on robot chicken, I was wondering how do they film all of this, Im interested in making some videos using those methods.

4. I don't know but I'm sure it must be very tedious. The end result is hilarious though. I love that show.
5. Many people are involved in the making. It's a lot of work. I guess softwares and figurines play important parts in the process.
6. It's stop motion animation, they use clay or plastic figures etc and take a frame of motion at a time. Each movement has to be done by hand, to make a figure walk they have to move the legs a little bit at a time etc. Some of the plastic figures are easier to 'animate' than actual clay which has to be molded and shaped much more. The more complex the action the more time needed to make the movements. You could make a short sketch or movie with a digital camera just taking photos of the action as you make the characters move. I would recommend a tripod and a stable work area so you can make adjustments without the camera moving or the scene/stage moving.
