Chook Me!

Can I feed my 4 week old kitten Church's chicken?

So, my friend was over and we'd had Church's for dinner. My friend and I were starving, so we went and got food. She got Church's chicken. Cricket - my kitten - was mauling her for some and when we gave him some, we went crazy. He tasted the grease on my friend's finger and almost gnawed it off. Will it hurt him really, really bad to the point he'd have to go to the vet or do I just not feed it to him again and he'll be okay?

  1. Don't feed it to him again and he should be fine.
  2. Doubt it. Don't feed it too much they might throw up. My mom gave our cat chicken, and now every time we sit down to eat she comes and begs for food whether it's chicken, ice cream, or french fries. o.O
  3. I nearly died laughing reading this question... but it's not a joke right??
  4. Yes, you can feed cats chicken, but not often. I just checked online, and it said it was ok. You can feed your cat chicken once every 2 or 3 months, but that's as often enough as you can get...don't feed him it every day or every week, if will become dangerous. If he shows signs of throwing up or choking or doing strange things, take him to your vet ASAP.
  5. It is okay to feed it to him every once in a while, but not to often, a kitten as young as 4 weeks can have stomach problems, so the best thing to do is feed it to him every once in a while so he doesn't have to go to the vet.
  6. It's probably not good for him being so young, but I don't think he'll have to go to the vet or anything. But I know what you mean about the cat going crazy for the food. One time my cat climbed up my leg (good thing I was wearing jeans so it didn't hurt that much) because I was making a sandwich and he smelled the ham I was using.
  7. People food isn't the best idea. Good intentions, I know...but I pulled a chicken bone out of a puppy's mouth a few weeks ago. It was stuck to the roof of his mouth, between the teeth and it had started going into the back of the gums. Ouch. Those people had given their dog KFC. It isn't just the risk of bones and things like that...your cat could have allergies that you don't know about. Even if the kitten doesn't have a reaction you're going to deal with a lot of runny, smelly poop later.
  8. you should fead it to him... he might really like it.. throw a little franks red on that bitch ull be good to go
  9. Cat's are carnivores and though there diet should mainly be meat, a 4 week old kitten should definitely not be eating that right now. People food is never a good idea for animals young or old it can cause many problems. So i would say the baby should be fine just don't do it anymore greasy food is definitely not a good idea....
  10. cricket should be fine
