How to keep 2 chicks warm on a 6 hour car ride?

We're getting 2 speckled sussex chicks that are 1 or 2 days old, but they're a little over 6 hours away. How do I keep them warm on the way back?

1. put hand warmers in the bottem of the box than a piece of cloth
2. Toss some blankets, or towels in the dryer before you go, and keep them wrapped in that. It won't last the whole 6 hours, but it will help.
3. give thm some thick blackets..
