- No such thing as too much water when raising humidity.
- No but there is such a thing as too much space , is the humidity escaping ?
- Follow the instructions that came with the incubator for all operations.
- To overcome this problem spray lightly your eggs with Warm Water, twice per day.or put more water in you incubator. neither will do any harm
- Get a little humidity thing (greenhouse ones are cheapest, but there are decent ones on the internet) and experiment. I found that if you add too much water the humidity gets too high and it effects the temperature, so on the last few days when you need more humidity decrease the temperature just a little bit and add lukewarm water. You really need to keep the incubator going for about a week beforehand to make sure you can do it right, there is nothing worse then accidentally killing your chicks because you didn't do things properly.
- 1st get a auto turn incubator so you dont have to open the incubator where we lose the humidity 2nd put heaps o pebbles or other clean stuff like rocks to keep the temperature nice and constant, as when the incubator is full it keeps the temperature/humidity steady
