Oven baked chicken wing recipe ideas?

I've never baked chicken wings before. Any ideas of what I should put on them besides salt and pepper? Ideas please? I actually ended up finding a recipe online but tweeked it a little. Instead of dipping them in butter I dipped them in eggs and I crushed my own bread crumbs by using old garlic croutons. This was so good. Oh I also didnt use the tomato sauce. http://www.cooks.com/rec/doc/0,1739,150176-238196,00.html

  1. Dip them in a mixture of 3 tablespoons milk, one egg whisked, and a bit of hot sauce; then roll them in breadcrumbs. Arrange them on a cooling rack sitting on a baking sheet and bake them in the oven at 375 for about 35-40 minutes. Delicious!
  2. I've used a lot of things but one thing I tried a long time ago that went over really well was to cover them in ranch dressing and then put some Italian bread crumbs on them. I did this with boneless thighs but it should work with wings too.

  4. ladydi gave a great and simple recipe...it's a no fail recipe. The second way is to rub them with fresh garlic, sprinkle with cayenne, salt and pepper, drizzle with olive oil and bake, again turning a couple of times. These can be served right out of the oven or even better, place them on a hot grill for just a minute or two to char them a little. Sooooooooo Gooooooood!!
  5. http://allrecipes.com/Recipe/Baked-Lemon-Chicken/Detail.aspx i use this recipe all the time. i use italian bread crumbs.you may want to add or take off a few minute depending on how many chicken wings you use.and i love butter so i always drizzle extra on top and in the baking dish. 1 clove = 1 teaspoon chopped garlic = 1/2 teaspoon minced garlic = 1/8 teaspoon garlic powder = 1/2 teaspoon garlic flakes = 1/4 teaspoon granulated garlic = 1/2 teaspoon garlic juice.....i use this to figure out how much garlic powder i need to replace the garlic. good luck
