Are these frozen chicken wings any good?

I didn't have time to see the expiration date...but my mom said that some frozen chicken wings have been sitting in the freezer for 4-6 months now with the bag they were in open. My dad is cooking them on the grill, but my mom and I are scared to eat them in case they might give us food poisoning? Are the good to eat or should we not take the risk? Thank you!!!
