- ya its just what seth green wanted to call it
- It has to do with the shows creators going to a foreign food restaurant and seeing something on the menu, like kung pow chicken, and took part of that name. I don't know exactly where the whole name comes from, but I know part of it has to do with a menu item...
- The show's name was inspired by a dish on the menu at a Chinese restaurant, Kung Pao Bistro, where Green and Senreich had dined, although the series originally was intended to be titled "Junk in the Trunk"
- I think he looks more like 'Borg Chicken' but I'm sure the star trek people's lawyers would have been all over that one. Awesome show, no?
- Without being in Seth Green's head at the time he decided on a name for his show, I can't answer this question with any kind of accuracy. What I can say is that it's a very enjoyable 15 minutes, especially if you grew up in the '80s. I highly recommend it.
- Over 60 titles were considered for this show, including "Junk in the Trunk", "ADD TV", "Gold Dust Gasoline", "Toyz in the Hood", "Vegetable Fun Fest", "S&M Presents" but all were rejected due to trademark or other legal reasons. Out of the many titles the show's creators submitted only "Robot Chicken", the name of a local Chinese restaurant dish, was accepted. Some of the rejected names were later used as episode titles.
