How to grill chicken breasts with a rub on it WITHOUT burning them?
My husband and I have tried this many times and still the spices on the outside burn. I love the flavor and want to continue doing it. He is trying right now with the grill REALLY low and just monitoring them closely. Any other tips?

- That's what she said.
- If your rub has sugar in it, there isn't much you can do. However, you might want to try indirect grilling. Heat one side really hot and put them on the other side. When they are close to being done, put them over the direct heat if you want grill marks.
- The trick to this is indirect heating. Put the coals on half of the bottom of the bbq pit and put the chicken on the other side and cook for the same amount of time. Eat when meat shrinks from bone and blood is gone.
- Cook for the usual amount of time but flip/turn them more often.
- My husband grills all the time...and his grilled food is so good..I get mad when I have to cook meat cuz I know it won't be as good as his. I just asked him. He said don't put the chicken breasts directly over the flame. He says you don't have to cook it low. You can cook it on high, just not directly over the flame.
