I'm thinking of upgrading my chicken coop any opinions on how good the eglu is?
I've also seen a company called chicube which would supply ex-battery hens with the house itself (I wanted to re-home hens anyway so this is totally brilliant) their hen houses are a similar price to omlet's eglu and also made of easier cleaning material than the traditional wood like the eglu is. I was wondering if anyone else had any experience with the eglu or chicube, like are they as robust and as easy to clean, which is better? Many thanks

- I haven't used the eglu before but I know some people who use it and they are really ok with it. As for me I prefer to build my own coops from scratch. If you are interested in building your own chicken coops, then I suggest you check out this guide on the site I've listed below. It has step by step guides on building different chicken coops including all the plans. http://bit.ly/df0XPT
