And if not where can you buy an incubator from and how much do they cost?

3. Yah you can. My friend Tempest and I did that with a nest of abandoned baby bird eggs we found. They were so cold, it warmed them up so much! Also we had a black glove over them so that it would hold in heat when we were waiting for the lamp to cool off. Just be careful they don't over heat. Older lamps won't do anything at all for them. Go to NexTag, they have cheap ones for 42-249 dollars.
4. They make cheap incubators, Styrofoam or plastic. A small 3-egg "Chick Bator" starts at around $20.
