How long should i cook my chicken wings which i have already placed on the frying pan?
So i made a sauce with water and coffee cream to which i added a little bit garlic, onion, curry powder(a little, just a little) and thyme, and even less cayenne pepper, salt. And this is the sauce in what i fry my chicken wings today. How long should i stew the chicken wings in that? I thought about 30 minutes would be fine. Any opinions? I didn't want to grill them so the pores of the chicken wouldn't close and form a barrier(actually it was to bothersome to grill/fry them plus if i did i would've had used some oil. That oil from frying+coffee cream+chicken wings would've added op to too much). I must correct you a little. It doesn't take more time if you have more wings. If you cook 10 eggs for 10 minutes and one egg for 10 minutes in a separate vessel, then the 10 eggs and 1 egg would still be equally boiled. Oh, and i use a lid.

- sounds like 30 mins will do the trick n give them the flavor u want.
- Interesting choice for sauce. I would actually grill the chicken wings to give them some colour and then finish up in the sauce. In any case, you need to cook chicken until it's well done, not pick. With wings, you should be able to pull the bones apart fairly easily. If the joints are still a bit bloody or pink, I would continue cooking. 30 minutes seems about right, but the time depends on how many wings, how big your pan is and whether you're cooking with the lid on (will reduce time needed) or off.
- Yo listen up, Im a chef. your best bet is if they are still bleeding and you don't want them burnt. Put them on a baking sheet and cover with aluminum foil, then put on 425 degrees, and set for 10 min or so, and check them. I know they say go at a lower temp and cook slower, I put mine at a higher temp, and they cook in no time trust me.
- When it comes to marinating, the longer the better. Usually here we flour our chicken, marinate it for about 5 hours+, then set it on the grill. When I deep-fry, I let my wings sit in the fridge (either with a rub, coating, or in a marinating liquid) for about 1 to 1 and a half hours. It all depends on how strong you like the flavour to be. If you want a lighter flavour, 30 minutes should be okay.
