How many times can you refreeze cooked chicken?
I cooked some chicken wings, froze them once, defrosted and ate some, and now froze them a second time. Is it ok to defrost them and eat them again? cooked, defrosted, cooked and ate half and defrosted the rest, safe to eat? I hope you can decipher that. Basically, how many times can you refreeze cooked chicken? Thanks!

- I have done that concept......cook then freeze, defrost then freeze then eat the final batch. Never had a problem.
- Never re-freeze meats once thawed.
- Any meat should only be defrosted once and then eaten or thrown away. When food has been taken out of the freezer (maybe by accident etc) it then has to be put back within an hour any longer than that and it then has to be fully defrosted then cooked.
- chicken is the worst meat to work with because it is the most susceptible to salmonella and can be dangerous to your health chicken should only be kept cooked over night once can be eaten the next day or else disposed of. chicken if not handled the correct way can be detrimental to your health be careful and please dispose of the chicken in question and do not eat it.
