Do hens look after and take care of their young?
Would the hen care for the chick even after it hatched? If so, how do they feed them? I always wondered because I've always heard of using incubators to hatch the egg, etc. But what would happen if we let nature take its course, Is the chick raised by its mother or is it on its own? Thanks

- Yes they do and very nicely, they lead their chicks to the source of food and water. The also break lager food particles to enable them edible.
- Yeah. They are over protective to their chicks. They never lose their sight to them, Hens usually dig or scratch the ground to find a seed or an insect or a worm for her chicks. If the chicks has a mother then let the mother do her job. You can't understand Hen or bird language so you can't take care of the chick like the real Hen do.
