Is that true or a possible way to make it? If so what type of oil do you specifically cook it in? What are some other really good friend chicken recipes?? I have recently tried to cook different type of things. I want a place with good recipes. Please help me. 10 easy points (this is for a family of four)

- My mother makes the best fried chicken ever! What she does is buy some chicken fillets, thaw 'em out, cut it (not necessary), roll 'em in flour, and toss them in some hot canola oil. Try rolling them in ranch before the flour, taste great! :) Hope that helps.
- I make fried chicken and use Crisco or Wesson vegetable oil. I haven't found another one I really like. I'm a fan of super easy things to cook. Buy some oven bags for your cooking, they are next to the garbage bags at the grocery store. You can cook just about any type of meat in them and have it turn out well, because the bag holds in the juices and flavor. There are instructions inside for how long to cook various meats. Here's my favorite easy recipe: Party Chicken 3-4 boneless chicken breasts 8 ounces sour cream a can of cream of mushroom soup 4 strips of bacon small jar of chipped beef (in the store it's next to canned meat like tuna) Heat oven to 350 degrees Cook bacon in skillet or microwave till halfway cooked Place chipped beef evenly on bottom of baking dish Wrap partially cooked bacon around each chicken breast (you can secure it with a toothpick) Mix soup and sour cream together (it will be lumpy, and it's ok) and pour over the breasts Cook at 350 degrees for 40 minutes Serve this with the pasta of your choice with the sauce over it. You might like Shake and Bake chicken. You can buy the Shake and Bake seasoning where they sell flour in the grocery store. All you do is put the seasoning in the bag, put in chicken, shake it, and cook it according to directions in the oven. http://www.campbells.com has a lot of very easy casserole recipes
- The yummiest way is : dredge your chicken (bone in) in seasoned flour (i use paprika, italian seasoning, salt & white pepper,) then in egg wash (egg cut with water, till it's a less thick but not thin consistency) and in seasoned flour again, then fry in a cast-iron pan using shortening:p..... for the best results:) It's always the shortening that makes it the best fried chicken! But you can substitute canola or some kind of veg. oil for healthier fried chicken.
- Soak the chicken in buttermilk, a couple teaspoons of salt and a couple tablespoons of hot sauce for at least 4 hours. I go over night with it. Then mix 3c flour, a couple teaspoons salt and 2 tsp baking powder in a big plastic bag. (you can add some ground red pepper if you like) And as a previous poster stated, use shortening to fry. The best!!! The buttermilk adds so much flavor and tenderness.
