  1. I have one easier than that....just marinate the chicken breasts in Italian dressing for 15 minutes then bake in a casserole dish in the oven until done. If you have to have barbecue chicken, season them with garlic, salt, and pepper or poultry seasoning and bake until almost done. About 10 minutes prior to the end of cooking time baste with bbq sauce, cook for 5 minutes, turn and baste the other side and cook for 5 more minutes. It will only take a few minutes. Cook 20 minutes per pound.
  2. Cover the chicken breast in barbeque sauce and corn flake crumbs bake 45 minutes you can wrap in aluminum foil you can also wrap them and Boneless, Skinless Chicken Breasts Baked in Foil with Sun-Dried Tomatoes and Olives 4 servings Sun-dried tomatoes and Kalamata olives make a gutsy garnish for boneless, skinless chicken breasts. Position a rack in the center of the oven. Preheat the oven to 450 degrees F. Rinse and pat dry: 4 boneless, skinless chicken breast halves (about 1-1/2 pounds) Trim any fat around the edges. If you wish, remove the white tendon running through the tenderloins. Season with: Salt and ground black pepper to taste Combine: 10 Kalamata or other black olives, pitted and finely chopped 8 sun-dried tomato halves in oil, cut into thin strips 3 tablespoons sun-dried tomato oil (from the jar of tomatoes) and/or olive oil 2 tablespoons finely shredded fresh basil or minced fresh parsley Cut four 12-inch squares of aluminum foil. Fold each square in half to make a crease at the center. Unfold the foil and lightly oil the shiny side. Lay each breast on the shiny side of the foil just to one side of the crease. Spoon the tomato mixture over each breast, leaving a 1/4-inch border around the edges. Loosely fold the foil over the chicken, then crimp the edges of the packet to seal tightly. Place the packets on a baking sheet and bake for 20 minutes. Remove from the oven and let stand for 5 minutes. To avoid being burned by steam, cut a slit in the packets before opening them.
  3. I WOULD PUT THE SAUCE ON FIRST THEN BAKE AT 350 FOR 25 MINUTES
  4. lay out your foil - spray with oil or brush it down with oil. Add your chick breast, season with salt/pepper and spread on your bbq sauce. Wrap and back for 30 mins in oven on 350. During the last 10 mins, open the pack and put a bit more bbq sauce on and leave it open. Check the temp of the chicken to make sure it is done (180 F) after the 30 mins.
  5. You can cook chicken breasts in foil quickly and they are very tasty and you can vary the flavors. Just remember to cook them for 20 minutes at 450 degrees and they are good. Add your BBQ before baking. I also cook them with a sprinkle of garlic powder, pepper a little bit of light soy sauce and a tiny little pat of butter. When done, I take the sauce from the packet and put it in a little dish and use it for dipping each piece as I cut it. Just remember 450 degrees at only 20 minutes and you're good.
  6. Place the chicken breasts on double foil and cover with the sauce and anything else, like crushed pineapple without juice and chopped onion. plus seasonings. Be semi lavish. Fold up foil and seal tightly and place on pan in case it bubbles out. Cook at 350° in preheated oven for 30- 45 minutes. test with fork to see if its done. Sealed up, you can hardly screw up a chicken. Works with mushroom soup and sliced fresh mushrooms, etc too
  7. I would be very carefull about cooking chicken covered with BBQ. sauce in foil or any meat in fact. the acid in the bbq. sauce will eat holes in the foil and you don't want to be eating aluminum especially now. Think of the little one. I suggest you use a baking dish tented with foil making sure foil does not touch the bbq. sauce. Let hubby clean up the mess ha-ha.Bake at 375*F for about 30 to 40 min. or until juice runs clear when punctured with a fork. I hope this helps jim b PS. you could bake chicken wrapped in foil heat the bbq. sauce in a small pan and add to chicken when you serve it.
  8. Barbecue Chicken Packets 4 sheets (12x18-inches each) Heavy Duty Aluminum Foil 4 boneless, skinless chicken breast halves (1 to 1 1/4 lb.) 1 cup barbecue sauce 1 package (10 oz.) frozen whole kernel corn, OR 1 can (15 1/4 oz.) whole kernel corn, drained 1/2 cup chopped green bell pepper PREHEAT oven to 450 degrees F. or grill to medium-high. CENTER one chicken breast half on each sheet of Heavy Duty Aluminum Foil. Spoon barbecue sauce over chicken. Top with vegetables. BRING up foil sides. Double fold top and ends to seal packet, leaving room for heat circulation inside. Repeat to make four packets. BAKE 18 to 22 minutes on a cookie sheet in oven OR GRILL 12 to 15 minutes in covered grill. NOTE: Spray foil with Pam or brush lightly with oil to prevent food sticking. Number of Servings: 4 ----------------------------------------------------- Hope you enjoy. :-)
