how much is the average cost of lumber?

I am trying to build a chicken coop and i want to know my price range.

1. depends on where you live and what kind of wood and how much of it. i wouldnt use wood. i'd pour a small concrete pad, put metal stakes around the pad and string the chicken wire around it. corrigated tin roof makes this a fox proof coop that cant be dug under or chewed through.
