How to get out and see the world?
Hey so this is a really broad question...and it may be a little long so bear with me here. My mother was telling me the other night how she spent the summer when she was 15 in Israel working her ass of in a kibbutz, plowing feilds, digging soil, cleaning chicken coops, and spending about 3 hours a day in school learning Hebrew. I REALLY want to do this-spend one entire summer working, learning a language, and really putting some blood and sweat into it in a foriegn country. Does anyone know of a program or oppertunity where this would be possible? Especially something low in price-my family is broke. :P Thank you so so so much!! :) Btw I live in Los Angeles and speak English, so I wouldn't want to go anywhere in America or England. Thanksss!! Wow, that website looks amazing-unfortunately, I am 14 years old, and the website says you have to be 18+. :( :( :( It looks AMAZING though...I guess I'm going to have to wait for 4 more years!! :((((((

- I just got back from France where I did the same thing!!, I spent three months working and learning the language. It was a really wonderful experience. Anyways, I used a website called WWOOFING which stands for world wide opportunities on organic farms. Its an exchange, you work on their farm and in return they feed you house you, and teach you about organic farming. You can go literally anywhere in the world to do this and the best part is it's free other than the transportation too and from (meaning airline tickets, and or bus tickets) and there is an application fee of about 25dollars to sign up. good luck travelling!!! http://www.wwoof.org/

- Look kid you don't need some kind of programing, if you really are interested you will find a way. Why don't you go to a country you would like to learn from, stay there, talk to the people, work with the people, and go to school there. Of course for that to happen you will need, a passport, and money. The best way to learn a language is if you live in that country.
