  1. Google > kijiji > Then select where you live > Then search both In the search bar (;
  2. http://www.mcmurrayhatchery.com/jumbp_pekin_duck.html http://www.mcmurrayhatchery.com/white_pekin.html http://www.mcmurrayhatchery.com/rhode_island_reds.html they are a good place to find any type of fowl you want hope that helps
  3. In fl there is a place where this lady sells only hens or roos at 6,00 bucks a bird she has birds at 3 days old to 4-5 months of age but this is quite a distance from Ct.Try looking up adoptions sites for un wanted birds,look in classified under farm animals for sale, could also contact some hatcherys and see if they have any for sale. Hall Brothers Hatchery is in Norwich CT # is 860/88/2421 (have duckies)
  4. Don't get them from a hatchery because they have a minimum that of birds that you must buy: most of the time 15 or more. For bantams 25 or more. Go to craigslist.org and go to the farm&garden section of the "for sale" section. Type in the search bar "chickens" or "ducks." There will be local sellers who don't want a lot of them.
  5. Just like Elim said hatcheries will have at least a 25 minimum. However My Pet Chicken is a hatchery that will let you order a minimum of 3 birds and they happen to be in connecticut. They don't sell ducks but you could get chickens their. You can use pet finder to search for ducks in your area from local shelters. For example this may help http://www.vast.com/pets/bird/location-Lebanon--CT the shelters will often sell you pekins for a very small fee but they don't usually have hens available You can also try this place in CT. http://www.clarkfarmbusiness.com/
  6. If you live in ct. you could search for local breeders or websites other answerers have mentioned. you don't want to get them from a foreign place, because they could carry avian flu or polorum-typhoid disease Ignore the spelling mistakes :)
  7. I expect you will have to buy the ducks and chickens for separate breeders? Just look online or in poultry magazines? You should ideally have more than 2 of each species, 3 ducks and 3 chickens would be better, they are both flock species and 2 is not a flock.
