What is the best way to cook chicken wings?

Baked, Grilled or Fried? How would you prepare your chicken wings?

  1. I do love grilled chicken wings,I inject them with wistershire and italian dressing. They are good baked as well. Remember to keep basting them and I love hot wing sauce on the side along with ranch blue cheese w/ celery n carrots.
  2. Deep fried are the easiest and they're very good. But, baked aren't bad either. Baking takes longer and they can really mess up your oven. I haven't tried grilled, but I'm sure they'd be wonderful. I just fry them at about 350 degrees until they start getting crispy (10 minutes or so...), dump them into a bowl while they aren't quite completely drained, add whatever sauce I feel like at the time, stir them around a bit and plate them up. In a small fryer, it's best to start with the temp set higher (maybe 400 degrees) because adding the wings will cool the oil quite a bit and the fryer will take a long time to recover.
  3. I usually deep fry my chicken wings, but on occasion I bake them, first I marinate them overnight in my favorite sauce then bake until the sauce thickens and the wings are cooked through
