Before you spend any money on materials for a chicken coop, you'd do well to check with the city to see if it is legal to keep chickens where you live.
first check to see if your allowed to have chickens in your area, then research online to see what kinds would be best for your climatea and area (i mean both the chickens and coops)
Your coop designs all depend on how much space you have and how many chickens you want to have.
