Is it now legal to have a chicken coop in your yard if you live in Simpsonville, SC?

I thought I heard on the television like 2 weeks ago that Suburb homes could now have chicken coops in their backyard? Me and my sister are wanting to make a chicken coop to be able to have a constant supply of chickens and eggs for our raw-fed dogs! Thanks for your responses!!! (No rude comments, please!)

2. Well I would suggest, that you ask your local councillor or mayor, they should be able to advice you on keeping chickens, but you will need to secure an area in your back-yard for them, as you may find that your chickens have been killed by your dog, or some-one Else's dog has got in to the coop.
