Adding a Little Rum to Baked Chicken Recipe?

I've added wine, balsamic vinegar, and apple cider vinegar to baked chicken in the past and had good results. I would like to try something new and add a little rum (1 -2 Tablespoons) to my baked chicken recipe. Have you ever added rum to baked chicken? How did it turn out and how would you describe the taste? Thanks.

  1. I would imagine it to have a nice caramelized flavor to it since it is fermented molasses. I've used rum in my cooking before with onions, chicken and other proteins too. Experiment!
  2. i wonder if you could get drunk from liquor or beer in baked chicken lol
