  1. use your own sauce to flavor it Baked Chicken Legs You will start out by heating the oven to 375 degrees. Rinse and pat dry the chicken and place it in a large roasting pan or a rimmed baking sheet. Drizzle the chicken with olive oil and season it generously with salt and pepper. Place the pan in the oven and bake for 25 minutes. Remove the chicken from the oven and brush with sauce. I like my bbq sauce but you use whatever you like! Place the chicken back into the oven and cook for an extra 5 minutes. Remove from oven, flip the drumsticks and brush one more time. Place in oven for an extra 5 to 7 minutes until the sauce is hot

Ingredients 4 large chicken leg quarters 4 tablespoons Louisiana-style hot sauce 2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil 2 garlic cloves, minced 1/4 teaspoon each of salt and pepper Directions In a small bowl mix all ingredients. Place chicken leg quarters in a resealable freezer bag. Pour marinade over the chicken and seal bag. Refrigerate for at least two hours, but overnight is best. Occasionally turn bag. Prepare a direct medium-hot fire. (250-300-degrees F) Place chicken on the center of the cooking grate. Grill covered for 10 to 15 minutes per side. Chicken is finished when the juices run clear when pierced with a fork. For more accuracy, use a meat thermometer. Chicken is done when the thermometer reads 165-degrees F. Brush liberally with the wing sauce of your choice or use the recipe below. =================================== Buffalo Wing Sauce 1/2 cup Louisiana-style hot sauce 1/2 cup butter (1 stick) 2 tbsp. vinegar 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder 1/4 teaspoon ground cayenne pepper In a small sauce pan, melt butter over a medium heat.
