What is that hidden fee at popeyes chicken if u spend over 5$?

So I was at popeyes and when she read my total is just didn't seem right. I looked at the recipt and it had this weird charge it. I forgot what 3 letters made up the abbreviation but the lady said any order over 5$ u get charged. I dunno if this is all popeyes that does this or just the one in gaithersburg maryland. Anyone know its been bugging me it was 50 something cents.

1. To be honest, I have only heard of surcharges if you spend less than a certain amount on a credit card. More likely it might have been an extra cost to eat in. Retain your receipt and phone head office. Don't be put off by a half-a$$ed explaination from a staff member who in all probability didn't want to be there.

3. That is strange! I would have to investigate further and find out exactly why they were charging like that. Doesn't sound right to me either.
