Homemade incubator or hova gator for leopard gecko eggs?

Homemade incubators are way cheaper but I'm not sure if they work as well or at least really how to make one that works well. I have read how to make one but I think I need more detailed description of how to make one well. Also I can't find a hova bator that is actually kind of cheap. The pet I go to sells them for $75 so that is pretty expensive but I want to make sure I have a good place for my eggs. All help is appreciated!! Thanks Sorry I meant to put hova bator but iPad spell check is annoying...

  1. In our zoo we used to just pop them into a large cottage cheese carton with wet sphagnum moss. Keep them the same side up as when they were laid, keep the moss damp and we put a perforated cover on the carton and sat it on top of the aquarium cover so they had the same heat as the adults in the tank below. We had 3 or 4 breeding females and hatched 2 or 3 eggs from each of them every year.
