How to make Chicken wings lean while baking?
I prefer the chicken wings not to be too oily, so I decided to put them in the oven instead. However, I don't know exactly how to make the skin lean without burning it? I like the chicken wings to be similar to Buffalo Wild Wings where's it's really lean and not too dry. I tried by dipping it in flour and cornstarch, but it's still not lean when it's cooked. What do you all suggest? Thanks!

- ahhh I just made some chicken (my mom taught me) be sure to wash it well with cold water. 1. Get your pan ready with foil. (preheat oven 350) 2. place chicken in pan and season (i use pepper and seasoning salt) on both sides. 3. Pour water in the pan about half cup 4. spoonful of butter and bake till brown good luck! :]
- try using a rack in the backing pan it will keep the wings out of the grease/oil that cooks off of them. season as you like and bake at 375 for about 1/2 hour to 45 minutes. to make buffalo wings after they cook toss them in hot sauce mixed with melted butter, or skip the butter but the taste will be a bit different them return to the oven for 10 minutes or so. good to go. enjoy!
- Try this, boil them not too fast for 30 minutes, make sure they are cooked through. Much of their oil will be cooked off. Then put sauce on hem and stick them under the broiler for a minute or two, turn and repeat.
