Economical recipes for dinners?
Hi, I am unable to work at present for health reasons and we are having to be very careful with money. I am cooking a lot of minced beef hotpots, spaghetti bolognaise, chicken casseroles, tuna pasta and jacket potatoes. What other cheap options are there for healthy and varied hot meals?

- You can make Quesadillas using almost anything - just buy some tortilla wraps, and spread one with the filling(s) of your choice (cheese, tomato sauce, mixed canned beans, peppers etc), place another tortilla wrap on top and dry-fry until the tortilla is crispy. Tortilla wraps are quite cheap to buy and you can use whatever fillings you like, depending on your taste and budget You can also buy big bags of dried pasta from most supermarkets, and pasta can be done so many ways - with a tomato sauce, a white sauce, baked with cream & cheese... the list is endless
- Do not know how healthy this is but its cheap. BBQ Cups 3/4 pound hamburger 1/2 cup BBQ sauce (your favorite kind) 1Tbsp minced onion 2Tbsp brown sugar 1 tube refrigerated biscuits 3/4 cup mozzarella cheese Brown hamburger and drain. Add sauce, onion, and brown sugar. Put biscuits in muffin tins and work dough up sides leaving a well in the middle. Spoon hamburger mix in well and top with cheese. Bake at 400 for 10 to 12 minutes. Be sure to use lean ground meat with this and drain it really well or the biscuits will suck up the grease and be soft instead of hard enough to hold the shape.
