Natural remedies for getting rid of flys in my chicken coop?

I have a large chicken coop and I need help with controlling flys, does any one have a recipe that I could spray in my coop without harming my chickens please help!

1. I wouldn't use sprays. Use fly traps. There are many different designs and manufacturers to choose from or you can make your own. http://insected.arizona.edu/flyrear.htm
2. Get one of those ultra violet bug zappers, but modify it. Attach a shallow bowl beneath it and add a mixture of apple sauce and yeast.
3. Pin up used dryer sheets!
4. Use diatomaceous earth in the chicken feed and on the coop floor. http://wolfcreekranch1.tripod.com/diatomaceous_earth_flies.html There are many brands of HUMAN grade DE, do not use swimming pool grade!
