How to reduce visibility of Chicken Pox scars?

I had chicken pox at the age of 13 which is extremely late compared to other people. I don't know if the age that I had chicken pox has an effect on chicken pox scars or not, but the scars (from the few that I apparently picked at, even though I don't remember doing that...) from those days haven't gone away and I was just wondering if they was any inexpensive way to treat them? Just to reduce visibility.
