What to do with tough leftover chicken wings?
Got some stringy chicken wings - spiced, but unsauced. These are not hot buffalo wings, just the flying parts of the chicken. Shredding the meat off of them for a salad could take HOURS. Any thoughts on an easy way to reuse?

- Warm them in a little water until you can get the meat off easily and then soup or chicken chili, chicken tacos or the salad, etc.
- If you don't want to take the meat off the bones, maybe you could use them to season a broth. Since they're spicy, you could make a Chicken Tortilla Soup. The dry mix comes in an envelope at the grocery store. You add whatever you want. I usually throw in a can of diced tomatoes, a can of corn, and left over grilled chicken. Put your spicy wings in the pot and let everything boil, then simmer. Remove the wings before serving. By using the spicy wings to season the broth, your soup mix could last for 2 pots of soup instead of just one; half now, half later. Top the soup with shredded cheddar and sour cream. Yummy!
- Don't use all 300 of the wings and just use 5. That will reduce the shredding time to only minutes. then mince some scallion and celery- combine with mayo, a bit of spicy mustard, and the chicken meat for a quick chicken salad. Instead of bread try using boston lettuce cups with roma tomato slices.
- depends how old but i would buy a new chicken and start there....
- I would put them into a pot and bring to the boil, then reduce heat to a gentle simmer and simmer until the bones can be picked out. Fromthere tastee the stock and see what you could add tho make a soup with., or a pie.
- Freeze them and use them for stock. I freeze up a whole big bag of chicken cuttings and backs and then when I get enough I make a big pot of chicken stock then freeze that into cubes to use in recipes.
- You want to eat the wings?! Feed it to street dogs.
