Cooking chicken wings times?

Hey I can't find my thermo and i'm cooking stovetop, wondering how long & how high to cook, I want a crisp colorful outside. I started thawing about 3 this afternoon, won't be cooking till about 6:30 so they should be mostly defrosted, but still frosty i would assume. also, anybody know if it's better to cover to try & circulate the heat? i don't normally cook alot at a time, generally 6 or so at a time, i'm thinking 8 min, not quite sure w/o my thermo though. Cooking chicken wings in any other fashion besides deep fried is totally gay & a waste of time. I'm making lemon pepper, bbq and original. Plus, it's quite clear i meant deep fry since you can't cook anything in an oven in 8 min.

  1. Never cook any meat unless it is completely defrosted seriously. I would go 45 minutes at 350 degrees. Chicken can get you very sick, so its better to overcook even though dry chicken is nasty is better than salmonella, there should be no pink and any juices should run clear. RE: yeah i must be gay thanks. Help me out here genius how exactly do you make bbq deep fried chix wings? PS the best way to deep fry is to make sure the cover is air tight then jack the heat to high for like 30 minutes and make sure your face is right over the pot when you take the lid off
  2. It's past dinner time now but you are right. Defrosted wings fry in 7 to 9 minutes.
