- I take a pyrex and cover it with aluminum foil,, then spray it with pam. In a bowl I toss the legs with soya sauce, Season-all, (celery salt, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika and pepper) Fresh minced garlic, sesame seed oil and I combine it well. Then throw the legs in the dish and bake, uncovered and turning every 15 minutes or so. In the last 15 minutes I drizzle over honey and and the last 3 minutes I sprinkle over sesame seeds to lightly toast in the oven. If you can't be bothered, just leave it in the oven as is and their still really nice! oh yeah, and i don't know why but the foil makes them taste better!
- Savoury Baked Chicken Legs 1 full chicken leg per person, (thigh and drumstick, skin and back attached) 1 cup dry, fine bread crumbs 1 tsp dried parsley 1 tsp basil 2 tsp dried mint 2 green onions, chopped fine 1 or more cloves garlic, minced salt and pepper to taste Thoroughly mix the seasonings with the bread crumbs. If the mixture is very dry, blend in about 1 tbs vegetable oil. Without removing it, carefully lift the skin and stuff the bread mixture between the skin and flesh. About 1 tbs of crumbs is about all that is needed for each; thigh, front and back of drumstick. Place the stuffed legs on an ovenproof tray and bake at 375 degrees for 45 minutes to an hour.
- Chicken with Apricot Preserves! Take 1 jar of apricot preserves 1/2 bottle french dressing 1 onion chopped 2 cloves of garlic chopped 1 packet of Lipton onion soup mix Preheat oven to 350'. Combine all ingredients and pour over chicken in a glass baking dish. Bake for 1 hour uncovered. Serve with white rice and steamed veggies! My kids love this dish!
- Roasted Chicken is easy. I take the legs, and put them in a baking dish. Top with olive oil, lemon juice, rosemary, salt and pepper and fresh garlic cloves. Roast in a 425 degree oven for 35-60 minutes, until golden.
- make a marinade with honey, mustard paste or powder, caynne pepper, dash of soya, lime juice and rind, and a fewleaves of cilantro ,,,remove the skin of the chic legs and make a few deep cuts ,,rub with a little salt and pour over the marinade,,leave for a hour and then bake of grill ,,u can also add chunky cut veg like peppers, corn ,carrots etc to this
- get your pan ready put a tablespoon of butter on the pan and season the butter with what u will season the chicken with then let it melt in the oven as u preheat. take the chicken and mix some more butter unmelted with spices i like garlic powder red and black pepper and salt stir well then stuff the butter under the skin of the chicken if u do not have skin then just divide the butter up and put a good size drop on each piece. then bake for about 2 hours at 350.
- Take the skin off, then cut up an onion, 3 cloves of garlic, 1 red pepper. Sprinkle generously with salt and pepper and let sit in fridge overnight, then bake at 350, covered for about 1 1/2 to 2 hours, uncover the last 1/2 hour and baste often. You can add about 1/2 cup of orange juice before putting into oven. Simple but very good. I like it spicy so I add an harbanero pepper, seeds and all minced up. I also add about 1 teaspoon of Madras Curry powder to the orange juice before adding. Add what ever you like.
- Season them and bake them normally. While they are baking mix up 60% BBQ sauce and 40% fruit jam, apricot is very good for example. It gets better after it sits for a few minutes. When the legs are nearly done, brush one side and then 5min in the oven, then flip 'em, brush the other side and another couple of minutes in the oven finishes them. Tangy and sweet at the same time.
- the recipie I use the most is a simple one , you probably have used already. but..... i put the chick. in a glass pan (with cooking spray) a can of cream of mushy soup, whole mushy's,(your fav),small red potatoesw/skins,one small red onion (or your pref.), then cover with foil and bake at 375degs. for 1hr. or until done- (chick does NOT bleed when cut). you can add other veggies if you dont care for my favs. ......bon appitie.
- Season the chicken with salt, put in a baking dish. In a seperate bowl mix soy sauce and brown sugar to taste, pour over chicken and bake. SOOO Good.
