Anyone have a good dry rub or marinade for beer can chicken? I normally put it on the grill but with the weather...it's going in the oven.

  3. idk i can drink beer!!!!!!
  4. Cajun Seasoning/Rub (Cooking Light: lower in salt than commercial products) 2 ½ tsp paprika 2 tsp garlic powder 1 tsp salt 1 tsp onion powder 1 tsp crushed thyme 1 tsp ground red pepper 1 tsp black pepper Mix all together, use a rub on chicken, steaks, seafood, anything calling for a spicy rub.
  5. Just cook in a Dutch oven and bake it in the oven. Here is an easy recipe but almost any chicken dish will work in a Dutch oven. The chicken will come out so moist and tasty you may never want to grill again. Drink the beer while you are cooking the chicken. I prefer a Belgium Ale (Chimay or something similar) Enjoy! BREAST OF CHICKEN PAPRIKA TOP Ingredients: (6 servings) 3 chicken breasts, skinned and deboned, cut in half 3 tablespoons paprika 3 tablespoons chopped shallots ¼ cups butter 2 cups champagne (or sparkling apple cider) 3 cups heavy cream salt and pepper to taste Preparation: Sprinkle the chicken with paprika, salt and pepper.. Place in Dutch oven and add shallots, butter and champagne. Cover and bake at 350 degrees F until chicken is done (about 25 minutes). Remove chicken and keep warm. Reduce cooking liquid by 2/3. Over medium heat, pour in heavy cream, stirring until thickening take place. Strain the sauce over the warm chicken breasts and serve immediately.
  6. I tried cooking it in the oven once and it made a big mess! Be careful and check on it frequently.
