  1. Drive thru at Chic Fil A
  2. Cheez-its ground, added to yogurt and put on chicken- from a kids cookbook.
  3. Soy, ginger and garlic. Just combine these ingredients in whatever quantities to taste, marinate chicken and bake. Add honey for a sweeter option. Cover chicken with foil if it starts to brown too much. Just remember to cook chicken WELL - no pink spots. Can't tell you how many times I've sent it back at cafes to be told that "undercooked is better". Like hell it is!
  4. Slow-cook Chicken & Mushroom Stew (crockpot) 1 can cream of mushroom soup 2-3 fresh, boneless, skinless chicken breasts Salt and pepper to taste 1 package (8 oz.) med. white mushrooms 1 cup baby carrots 2 celery ribs, cut into 1 1/2 inch lengths In slow cooker, stir together soup and 1/2 can of water. Cut chicken into 2-inch chunks. Sprinkle with salt and pepper. Put chicken into cooker. Add mushrooms, carrots and celery. Stir gently to mix. Cover and cook on low for 6 to 8 hours or until chicken is done. ( double this recipe and stir in 2 cups of cooked white rice about fifteen minutes before serving)

  6. My favorite 2 are quite simple. 1. BBQ Chicken -Pour half a bottle of BBQ sauce in a baking dish -Take a pack of boneless chicken breasts and put them in the baking dish -Pour the other half of the bottle on top -Cook in the oven on 400-450 for about an hour -Get some mashed potatoes and eat. 2. Spicy Chicken -Get a bag of breaded chicken breasts and cook them for whatever the package says -Put them in a glad ware box with a lid on it -Pour on some buffalo wing sauce -Shake the box -Get some seasoned fries and eat.
  7. Hiya :o) Try this one - its really easy!! You will need: 4 Chicken Breast Fillets (skinless and boneless) Finely grated rind and juice of half a lemon Finely grated rind and juice of half an orange 1 tablespoon clear honey 1 tablespoon balsamic vinegar 4 tablespoons of tomato puree 1 teaspoon of dried oregano (or dried mixed herbs) Salt and pepper to taste. Mix together the rind and juice of the orange and lemon, honey, balsamic vinegar, tomato puree, oregano and seasoning in a shallow ovenproof dish. Score the flesh of the chicken fillets with a sharp knife, and add the chicken pieces to the marinade, making sure they are evenly coated with it. Cover the dish with cling film and chill in the fridge for at least 30 minutes (longer if possible). Meanwhile, pre-heat your oven to 200C/400F/Gas Mark 6. Cook the chicken fillets for 35 minutes or until the juices run clear when pierced with the tip of a knife, and there is no pinkness in the chicken flesh at all. Serve with the rice/veggies of your choice and enjoy! This is a very healthy way to cook chicken and is low in saturated fat too! EDIT: Once cooked, this will keep covered in the fridge for up to 2 days and is also nice eaten cold with a salad :o) Hope this helps xx
  8. Take any kind of pan. put chicken, little oil or butter. Salt, pepper and pour some water and cover the pan. cook on medium heat for about 20 -30 mins depending upon size of chicken pieces. Cook make sure in this time u evaporate all water and then letting it get fried a little in wtever juices that came out of chicken. Its done. SIMPLEST AND EASIEST CHICKEN RECIPE. bUT IF U ADD things in it it will taste lot better. Like chillies, little vinegar or lime juice, youghurt, cream, milk, wtever sauces or spices in ur pantry. i mean dont use all things together just combination of 3-4 . 1. youghurt, ginger, garlic, chilli powder, salt, little onion. u can add cinnamon, cloves, star anise or any other asian spice. 2. cream, parsley, onion, garlic, thyme. 3. lemon grass, coconut milk, ginger, chillies, green onion. 4. peas, 5. capsicum at end 5 mins of cooking. 6. or just add washed rice in it . 1 part rice 2 parts water/chicken stock in mid part of cooking. YOU CAN ALSO buy boneless pieces, stiry fry with lots of veggies on side. u can add sauces and water after frying to give it some gravy.
  9. Baked chicken breasts: Marinate boneless, skinless chicken breasts in Italian dressing for about 1 hour then roll in Italian style bread crumbs that have Parmesan and Romano cheeses mixed in - bake at 375 degrees F for 45 minutes to 1 hour depending upon how thick/big they are. Serve with smashed potatoes, green beans and maybe some gravy. It is easy, fast and very tasty. This works well with pork chops, too.
  10. http://www.kraftfoods.com/kf/recipes/recipedetail.htm?recipe_id=66298 I used to make this all the time in college. I would use "sweet baby ray's" bbq sauce instead. If you want to go healthier, try using a different bbq sauce that is healthier and serve with brown rice instead of white. It's easy to make. I'm definitely not an expert either!
  11. Nothing is easier than this... put some boneless, skinless chicken breasts in the Crock Pot with some Italian dressing (fat free, if you choose), and let it cook on low for about 6 hours Or...Lawry's makes some wonderful 30 minute marinades. I like to put the chicken in the marinade for 30 minutes, then put it all in a pan on the stove and cook it in the marinade.
  12. Your quickest no-hassle low-fat way of cooking would be using marinades and rubs, then pan-frying or grilling/broiling. Can always add a baked potato to bulk out the meal, and salad or steamed veg (I like to steam mine then toss them with a bit of sesame oil, salt'n'pepper and sesame seeds). Worth investing in a few herbs and spices, but it you really aren't keen on cooking then there are heaps of good pre-mixed rubs and marinades out there. Also, try these links: http://allrecipes.com/Recipes/Healthy-Living/Low-Fat/Main-Dishes/Chicken/Main.aspx http://allrecipes.com/Recipes/Meat-and-Poultry/Chicken/Chicken-Breasts/Grilled/Main.aspx And consider adding fish into your diet; you can buy and freeze fish fillets, leave one (or 2) out when you leave in the morning, it'll be defrosted when you get home, and it's even quicker to cook than chicken, plus has all sorts of good things like omega 3. Just try tossing it in seasoned flour (flour with salt and pepper), then pan-frying it and serving with salad and a baked potato, or roast root veggies. _______________________ Oyster Sauce Fish PREP TIME 10 Min COOK TIME 10 Min READY IN 20 Min INGREDIENTS 1 pound fish fillets butter flavored cooking spray 1 teaspoon canola oil or corn oil 2 tablespoons oyster sauce lemon pepper garlic powder DIRECTIONS Heat oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Cook until fish begins to flake, about 5 minutes.
  13. "Soy Vey" is a really good marinade. You can get it at most grocery stores. I agree with whoever gave you the cream of mushroom recipe. You can use the 98% fat free kind. It's still really good!
